well I opened my trunk to listen to my 12 w7 and its making a weird slapping sound, like its hitting something or getting ***** slapped inside. anything I should look for when i take it out and check. I don't even play it that loud weird. it was no clipped and never distorted.

tinsel slap? or the cone under the front cone could be slapping.

could be tinsel slap. if it is, then the tinsel lead will get weaker over time and possibly break if it continues.

just an idea. the older kickers are notorious for tinsel leads breaking like that.
