RL-P vs W6

I've been looking at the w6 for a long time, but always look at the price..

I hear the RL-P is a good SQ sub, would it rival the w6?

Heard both in the same day... similar vehicle (96-00 civic coupe) and imho, the RL-p was the nicer sounding... however, install/power was much different.... w6(250wrms JL250/1) RL-p (350wrms ARC XXK amp)

I have been wondering this as well. That W6 is holding steady at slightly more than $300 shipped. I have the W3 on my KX700.5 and it cannot stand the pain. I need to upgrade, but I want SQ and could care less about SPL.

sound advice carries them 400 with 3 years. I could get them for about 330-350 shipped.. but the extra cash for 3 eyrs sounds good.

I would take the w6 hands down! It's probably the best overall SQ sub you could probably invest your money in. I gurantee you as well that you'll love every second of them. Amazing sub

They are one of the nicest sounding but i would go as far as to say the best. I like the diamond audios better.

I have had both, granted w6 was a 12 and Rlp is a 15. To a good ear the w6 might have SQ edge, but not output. RLP sound really good sealed for me too. and its a lot cheaper. Plus its JL do something different

so you would take any diamond sub over a w6v2? We are talking about the new ones, correct?

I went from a 12w6v2 to an 8w7, and I never looked back. Smaller size, same output, more room, and better SQ (to me atleast.... completely subjective.)

I agree too..

but there are no dealers for SS over here. And no good displays for the w6. I heard a w3 in a ported box and thought it sounded amazing, so I imagine the w6 to be a lot better.
