I love mine. I use multiple apps everyday. Hell I used it to cheat on my calculus II final. There are two things that apple...forgot...

1. Copy/Paste

2. Pic messaging

Hopefully they will make a firmware update soon enough that will solve this.

Jail-breaking also allows for landscape keyboard while texting.

I jail-broke mine last night and it took me no more than 20 minutes.

I have 3G 8gb. 2.2.1

I am on 2.2.1 and have no locking up issues. I have the video capture app through cydia already. I was asking was there any info on whether the 3.0 firmware would have that feature.

Log on your cydia and read what they say about apples firm wire for 2.2.1...If you upgrade it may make it impossible to jailbrake, its a baseband lock.
