Okay, currently I have a 4-gauge power and ground connection with a 100-amp circuit breaker. Shortly, I will be receiving a MMATS D300HC amp for my HCCA 12's. I only have a 1-Farad cap. However, I will probably get 2 new 1-Farad caps with bussbars. Now, what should I do? Should I just go with the 4-gauge power to the cap and then to a fused distribution block and connect to the power on the amp? Or, should I use the 4-gauge power to a "T" distribution block and then use the 2 4-gauge power cables to the cap and then to a fused distribution block and finally to the amp?

I would try and get the caps as close to the amp as possible. I would put the caps inline after the d-blocks right before the amp(s) my brother //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Nope inline right before the amps. So the wire path will look like this

Battery -> Fuse -> d-block -> cap -> amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well, actually I have a fuse up front (circuit braeker) however, the amp doesn't have fuse so wouldn't i put it between the amp and caps? That's why I wanted a dist. block with a fuse already in.

Nope you don't need, or want to fuse between the caps and the amps. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So, don't fuse the amp? Just add another fuse between my existing breaker and distbution block and then power to the cap and amp?

Fuse the amp but not between the cap and the amp. If your d-block doesn't have fuses, put the fuse inline right after the d-block right before the cap. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
