I'm installing a Alpine 10' sub with a Old School Rockford Fosgate Punch 301M into my honda pilot 2013 but i ran into a problem. I wired up the Sub, Amp, checked all of the connections, everything is powering up and working. The problem is i dont hear any output being sent to the rockford amp. I tapped the LOC to the factory rear sub in the trunk space and have RCAs running to the amp. I dont understand what im doing wrong. Can someone give me some insight on things i did wrong or to check? The honda pilot also has a factory amp if that is important

There are a couple that SMD has tested, around $20.00 that should take the wattage from most any HU. If you are tapping into the speaker wires AFTER the OEM amplifier, depnding on the output, you may continue to pop anything you put in. This Kicker will take up to 55 watts.

The safer bet is this NVX which will take 80W and it's only $16.99

Both units tested clean and distortion free to near or at rated input.
