That thing got low dude. If you really want it to slam tell your friend to get an amp that does ~2kw. I did a 138.9 sealed up on the dash musically. 3.5 cubes @ 37hz is a good box for that thing as well. It definitely needs more than 1200 watts tho. And a deck could make a big diff...

Its gotta be your setup because my 12" FX had no problems getting low. Granted FI Qs get lower, thats just the way they are designed, FX is similar to the first gen mags on lows maybe a little lower, but not like Qs. but 30-37 should be quading. that thing wanged for me on a 1500D, so the problem is probably with the stock HU
