JL Audio Subs

Many people online may bash on JL audio but that is just because they are more expensive then alot of the online RE,ED,FI car audio companies that have alot smaller operation than them. The thing about JL audio is they are dedicated to the design and quality of their subwoofers. They spend more time in research on their products then anyother company just to make sure they have a superior product. Their subs are very clean and responsive and typically never fail if ran within the power limits that they stamp on the manual. That box you are looking at is a beast. I have personally heard it on several occasions and it sounds amazing. Great output and fits behind that seats so it looks stock.

Ebay is your friend when it comes to JL. I'm driving a few hours today to pick up 2 12W6V2's I picked up for 420 off Ebay (yes I will post pics when I get home with them, in 6 hours //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif )

I love the sound of the old w6s but never would have paid that much money for them. I did, and would again, pay $40 for the w6AE clone. That, was not price **** and was well worth twice the price I paid for it.

JL is very good, $ yes, but they arent an internet based company like some of the other highend companies that are a lot cheaper, too many dumb fuks cant get this through their head

Sonically, I don't think you could have done better for that price...in order to beat the W6V2, IMHO, you would have had to spend at least double that per driver...

I think it retails for like $1374... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

...It's one of the only options I have though, in order to keep the function of the back wall and have the bass in the cab...

You were one of my big influences in finally deciding to bit the bullet on ebay and drive 6 hours to get them. I had read a ton of reviews about how good they were, but never heard them myself. I agreed with almost every single post you made in the SQ portion of the great 12 challenge (except the Rl-p //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) so figured I could trust it.

Here's the thread with a few pics I snapped of them when I got them home. Tell me where to put my tweeters form the pics on the second page too!
