Installed new alt isnt charging

well today after spending all day yesterday it seems to charge the batt.I have no batt light on and everything is good.But when I start the car its like 12.6-12.7 then slowly rises to 13.1-13.2 max.Should I have to fully charge the batts figured they are low from all the times ive been using them without the alt working.Also my alt-pos wire is stock honda so like 8-10 guage not sure that helps.

You can actually ruin your HO alternator by starting your car on a low battery like that. It could get extremely hot and mess it up! You should also upgrade the wiring from the positive of your new alt and the negative.

Glad it's finally charging...

IM just hoping the front batt was just relly low when it started working so ill harge it tommorow
