Install price for a Double din?

You could use a standard chrysler harness on it, you'd just have to get accy power from somewhere else, and he would lose the delayed accy. he also didn't mention if he had the factory nav panel or if it was going to be supplied by the shop. I usually charge $100 for labor on it, not including the parts.

You're right though SethPhillips the canBUs adapter would be the correct interface to use.

In college and during my 20's I installed for a company in my hometown. It was great experience and I learned I didnt want to do it for a living. This weekend I installed my Clarion DVD, Steering Wheel Interface (SWI) and a Boyo back up camera. Here is why a $160-180 is a good price to pay for someone that has the knowledge to install:

1) Knowing how to take your dash apart quickly without scratching it or ruining anything.

2) Putting DVD kit together and attaching it to your HU.

3) Removing old HU.

4) Wiring new HU correctly and soundly. (I had 3 sets of RCA's to attach also)

I used a toggle switch so I could break the ground anytime I want so I can watch DVD 24/7 but I can turn it off if I get pulled over by the cops!

5) Wiring universal SWI-Pack and coding it to match your vehicle. If you havent done this before it takes a few minutes to say the least.

6) Back up camera. Wiring and running purple wire to tail light. Figuring which is the positive side of the back up bulb.

If I could have paid someone $160-180 to do all this, it would have been a bargain!
