nate just replied to me and this is what he said

Did you check to make sure the plug is connected good and it is getting battery power through the fuses to the alternator as well as power to the plug ? The alternators are bench tested to make sure they are working as they should before the are shipped. I will be closed until Tuesday for the Holiday weekend. I will not be in the shop to answer the phones or emails. I might check my emails from home on my laptop over the weekend though.

i just came back ffrom autoparts and they tested my alt, it marked the alt charging at 12volts... but i noticed the belt was lose as hell and it wasnt turning all that fast... shoul the alt charge more over 900rpms?

mine goes from 150 amps at 800rpm to 275 at 2k+

yes! i got it fixed, it was the plug with the 2 lil legs it had a piece of plastic stuck so it didnt let it go in fully.

14v but the **** batt is a pos, its a 1 year old everstart 525CCA
