??? inside layer mdf outside layer birch

MDF is more dense, hence why it weighs more per sheet.
Hmmm... I've heard that HDF (High Density Fiberboard) is lighter than MDF and it's much stronger... If its dense enough to call it HDF instead of MDF than why, according to your theory, is it lighter? Just curious cuz I'd love to know whether HDF is justa gimmick or if its really what its suppose to be

Larger coils are going to hold more power before thermal failure. You may also be gaining mass enough to lower Fs to some more desirable point...
