Humming coming from inside amp

The amp is used so no warranty and i got it for a pretty decent price. It is the toroid transformer making the humming. The wire pulled away from the glue. I got it put back and there is now no noise. Aparently its a common thing with these amps

Thanks !! I hope so too. I normally dont buy used equipment but took a gamble on it. I dont even have enough speakers to run it right now but i will soon lol

Nothing wrong with buying used gear. I'll meet up at a shop that'll test an amp if it ain't hooked up still

I was close to buying a big crescendo. Met at the shop and the owner couldn't keep it out protect once music started playing. Powered up just fine and dandy though

Crescendos are good amps, i debated going all crescendo awhile back before i went with all surge. From what i understand they fell off tho.

I usually wait till black friday or when theres good deals and buy all my equipment new or discounted. Its hard to trust ppl anymore, seems like everyones trying to scam these days.

I'm running a crescendo s6 right now. I can't find anything to complain about with it and the customer service I've gotten with stupid questions has been top notch. I'll be swapping all my amps over to crescendo before the end of '24

I was under the impression the company went down. The amps were out of stock for quite awhile. Good to here they are still in business

It's not a huge company so I can trouble at times keeping inventory. Besides good customer service is important to me, I can wait for something if needed
