What size wire are you using? You normally fuse for the capacity of the wire.

300 is way too big, if you ran a 300 amp fuse on that amp you might as well run straight wire. 150 amps is big enough.

y most 0ga amp kits come with 250-300a.. i've always said to go smaller like u say 150-200 but they come with bigger usually

well 150a fuse good for about 2k but u just gotta fuse for the wire..

I owned one before my 2500, I used a 150 amp fuse

I fuse for the current capacity of the wire rather than what the amp would potentially draw, 300a for 0ga ofc and 250a for cca.

looks like like i'll put a 300 amp ANL fuse.

i'm going to be building this steup to run two Sundown SA-12's in a ported box . just joined the forums here yesterday , thanks for the replies , much appreciated ....
