****ing ***** gain problem

I go out, dissconnect my sub speakers like it says to, hook up my dmm, and nothing. it reads ****ing nothing. Yet my sub works..why? What the ****?

then it is your dmm. subs cant play if there is not voltage there.

see if it works on your battery. House current is different.

House is AC and car is DC.

so maby your dmm is not reading dc

If he's trying to read the output voltage on the amplifier, it's AC...same as what comes out of the wall.
