Its better to have that harness than cutting into the wires... learned this the hard way back in the day man...

Im just so impatient! at least it gives me time to make some baffles. is MDF the only to use or am i able to use differ wood?

If you putting them on doors, I would use plywood. I stopped using MDF and went to Birch and Maple ply.. a lot lighter and I think it gives a better sound.. "my opinion"

Thanks! will look at which of the 2 ply's are cheaper and go with that tomorrow!

If its just for doors, decent ply will work.. paint the wood good or use the bed liner paint on the wood to seal it up real good.

What is the point of sealing the baffle?

Gotcha! Another thing where was you're firewall located? i think i might have found one on the passenger side but not sure.

you mean the plug hole in the firewall? its on the passenger side..

Alright things been going slow, but should be able to speed up now that i am back down to one job. Yesterday i finally put in the radio, ran the rca's and power wire all under the carpeting. taking out the seats was a breeze. Went out at bought a cheap plunge router and tried and make some baffles. They came out ****** but still work.

This rubber boot was a bitch to get out i struggled my ass of with it!

had to take the wheel of to reach the wire, my chubby hands wouldn't reach it from the top of the engine bay //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

the only issue i am having is setting up my amp settings and HU setting the amount of option on this unit is overwhelming to a newbie. Any tips on what i should be adjusting? also would it sound better or be easier to adjust settings if i go active?

Umm get that tweeter out of the door and up to the a pillar.
