Wow, IDMAX is pretty good looking...the price is a little on the expensive side...but...the way I see it...if I was going to get two 12" IDQ (I think they are around the 200 dollar mark each)...it would only be 50 dollars more....and from what RangerMan suggests, could better perform than the two combined...hmm I'm sure I could find it for a little cheaper, but I don't think it would have that factory warranty sounddomain and other authorized dealers would have...hmm

Something to think about for sure...when it is a rather expensive purchase...I'm sure I'd get my moneys worth.

Hell, didn't get a job at Publix for the money to sit around now did I...lol

Only thing I'd have to worry about is not having the car itself fall apart lol, 1000watts rms...fukin a lol.

So, we'll see lol. Gotta save the $$$ for a few months...but then again I'm not geting a car till late March...so that gives me plenty of time to save up...besides I didn't plan on having a complete system until the end of my school year, so I can have alllllll senior year to blast out, lol....and the end of the school year is in June, lol!

Thanks for the help fellas...I'll let you know when the time is right and once I have decided.

I'd look into the Tsunami and Crossfire 1000d's

Check eBay and see what you come up with.

hey i am thinking of the exact same sub set up

if i go with the two IDQ 12's...i might get a US Amps 600X

if i go with the one IDMAX 12...i will get a PG QX 900.1D

what do you all think ?

anyone has experience running D class amps on ID subs ?

Never had a problem with the IDMAX or the IDQ.

That PG would be fine with the IDMAX...however I would look into a solid 1000w amp like the ones listed above.

what do you mean a solid 1000W amp ?

isnt the PG under rated a bit ?...i think it's 900 rms @2 ohm

wont this be enough to make this sub move ?...i want it to last for a logn while...its for daily/personal listening
