Thank you.I actually thought it was a good organization technique, most of the time when people make long posts I either don't take the time to read them, or everything is organized so poorly and written so badly it makes no sense, whereas this post made perfect sense and was easy to follow.
They could have left toggle switch on.Why would the shop need to put your car on a batt charger just to change a power steering pulley?
Leaving this toggle switch on would cause the batts to self-drain and require an external charge? Over (I assume) just a few hours time? Exactly how do you have the system wired up? Usually people have their 16v system on a completely separate circuit than the rest of their vehicle and charging system. They could have left toggle switch on.
this, i wouldn't trust the retards at the shop enough to even leave the batteries in the carLeaving this toggle switch on would cause the batts to self-drain and require an external charge? You should have the system setup so it can be disabled when you take the vehicle in to be worked on. Im not saying this is your fault, just something to consider for next time.
i tried this once... a lot of those store front windows are really hard to break. I had a car battery bounce right off oneI'd throw the batteries one by one, night by night through their windows.
