There's not a whole lot you could do with an extra $50 there. The only real upgrade would possibly be going to a higher level ID set, and you'd be looking at way more, afaik. Mostly what you'd need is to be saving for a set of sub/subs and an amplifier for them.Originally, that was why I was afraid to go 6.5". I am a noob and don't know how to do that, but I realized that I can extend my budget for installation. I realized that I have more spending money than I originally thought.
Hypothetically, if I was to get the parts i've listed below, what else would I need and what would installation cost approx.? (you don't need to be spot on, but I don't know if we are talking $100 or $500.

Seeing this, and as I said, I realized I have more spending money, I may be able to bump up the set a little bit... perhaps some suggestions? (Not looking to add more than $50 to that total)
Thank you for the heads up, that will make for an interesting phone call.its funny cuz even woofers etc is willing to negotiate on those prices if you see them in person

And good choice - don't get them from an unauthorized dealer -.-
If I had to guess, I'd probably say between $100-$200 for the installation of the 6.5" components. As a rough guess - but don't take it for much by any means. The rest could be done by you, or for a little bit more added on. That'll be most of the work there in the components.
With the $50. gets some dynamat and deaden the doors well.Originally, that was why I was afraid to go 6.5". I am a noob and don't know how to do that, but I realized that I can extend my budget for installation. I realized that I have more spending money than I originally thought.

Thanks again horseman, i'll look into it.yes imo it would. you say you plan on adding 2 12s and another amp so most likely you'll want an amp that has good output. which will most likely require you to change your power wire size. but i could be wrong i've ran plenty of systems with just 4 ga wire as my main power. but now adays power usually requires 4 gauge just going to the amp itself. if that's the case you may want to change from 4 gauge to maybe 2gauge or even 1/0. and as i said since you plan on adding an amp you should go ahead and run all 3 sets of rca's back that way you won't have to pull the deck out again to run another set.
I have those same exact ID comps and they sound super yummy. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gifRealize I posted the wrong link for the ID set, accidentally had it directing to the head-unit instead.
