Im choosing the AQhdc3 18 over the FiQ 18

My Q was loud enough to drown out a 15" L7 in a prefab ported box off a ZX750.1 about ten feet away.

My roof flexed like a mofo.

Edit: Not done anywhere where I would be a public disturbance.

but bigger xmax SHOULD mean more potential to move air

my 9518g has a pretty low xmax, around 20mm if i remember right, maybe even lower.

I have BOTH subs and SQ is pretty much equal. I actually think the Q is a little muddier on the bottom end. But I do have more EQ in my car then the GF's car with the Q.

Just get the Q my 12" is loud and also sounds good.

My buddy temporarily had 2 12" L7s in a prefab ported box off his KX1200.1.

I was not impressed, whatsoever. His R's in a prefab were MUCH, MUCH louder.

L7's were a lot cleaner though.

I hope for hype's sake that L7's improve 300% with a proper box.

wait...which sub was in the prefab ported box at 750rms??

and about the 9815 or 9518...which ever you posted... I know its louder... BUT... then whats the point of a company making a bigger Xmax than the other?
