So for SQ I should go wit the Q with bp power in a sealed box...5ft^3 correct?

why not ported at 32hz 6ft^3 (itd be louder than sealed and would still have better SQ than the hdc3 18)

Im just scared about the AQ 18 sounding dirty and hearing motor noices...
btw the friend that convinced me just bought the hdc315 and a rf t2000bd(3000watts at 1ohm)

and thinks i should go with the hdc3 instead of the FiQ

why would you need to cool an 18's VC when your running 1200 watts, the main reason for cooling is for more power handling. When you run 3k watts your obviously going to lose SQ....

yes agreed you are reducing sound quality by adding the BP option. but it would be so minuscule you would never notice it. you think you could tell a difference? and if you can I would like to see the test done. Also my point is he made it seem as though adding the BP power option would turn it into a HDC3. Which it will not in any way shape or form. Completely different motor structure and soft parts.

So ordering bp power, instantly means he has no sq anymore? No it just means if he wants to he can throw extra 500rms to them. And im running 1200rms(only 200rms extra) and my coils get hot so bp power is a great idea. You should stop talking because its getting more and more obvious you really don't know what your talking about.
