If install battery, what else do I need?

What kind of battery should I buy?
Don't have a whole lot of money, don't really know how to repleace my alternator. Would it ruin my alternator if I didn't do that?

How much do you want to spend on a batt Give me a price and i can tell you where to get it and a price on it..

. Orrrrrrrr you could go to walmart and get a EVER START MAXX-29 Marine batt its about the same as a Optima Yellow top. Im getting 1 for under the hood i have a Kinetik HC 2400 in rear

cheaper is not always better when it comes to your electrical but ok.. that's why i asked how much power u running, that kinetic might not be enough

save another 50 bucks and go to sams club and pick up a yellow top.

you shouldn't even need a second battery. I'm guessing you have at least and 100A alt under the hood. Try running 1/0ga. wire first along with the Big 3. I'd say about 5% of systems in the COUNTRY need a second battery. What you could do though is replace your stock battery with a better battery. Put a kinetik as your starter/charger battery and your problems might be solved
