Imo most of what Christianity is today (the belief that it is the true religion of God and Judaism/Islam are wrong, etc) is mostly the result of years of people changing the truth for personal gain and adjusting things to the way they want to see them. Afterall, with the mentality of Christianity, how could there possibly be anyone as important as Jesus, we'd certainly have to make sure that's not in the bible. And its well documented, that its been rewritten countless times, and usually changed and had a spin put on it, everytime...

Well, the bible teaches that jesus is not a prophet, but God, if you need textual references to this, i can provide in the morning.

Hardly anything......an e thing at all......that is written in any of the Biblical revisions is novel. Same ideas, different author. It is the greatest story ever told. If you want to live your life by it, go for it but don't expect not to be challenged when you claim superiority.

In all the major monotheistic religions, God is seen as unconditional love. It's like unanimous. Under which conditions do you think we as humans are best suited for the unquestioning belief in the boogie man????

The arabic version of the quran has been exactly the same since it was originally written, word for word, the words of mohammad, which he memorized from the angel Gabriel, who was sent from God. Mostly because it WASN'T translated or rewritten.

That's what people don't get with Christianity, it's a do-less job, there are no "things" it takes to get salvation. It's free, by definition, grace is a gift that we don't deserve, and due to our sin, we do not deserve salvation, but we can have it, through faith, not works.

That is the whole point of the majority of Romans.

That is what Luther finally grasped, and what caused him to post his thesis on the door of that church, because that church was taking money for penance, when the bible does NOT teach that.
