IB set up with Stuff in trunk.

I want to do a IB set up for 2 reasons. one it sounds like a fun build and something id like to experience because ive had 8's, 10's, 12's ported and sealed ect so it sounds like something new. now i know a IB set up isn't something i can just throw together in a weekend i will research it more and make sure i know what im doing but before anything i want to know will a air ride set up in the trunk (5gallon tank, 2 compressors, full valves) make this set up impossible to do. sorry if its a dumb question

No, objects in the trunk should not affect the sound. You are thinking of the trunk becoming your box, but if done correctly the entire cabin will be the enclosure, and cargo should not be a factor.

how i had it in my head is i need to seal off any air leaks from trunk to cabin. and mount the sub facing into the cabin..... is that really all it is. i mean more to it then that but a over al idea. also what are some good single 12 for IB.

IMO, larger subs would be better for IB since they naturally have lower FS and will get lower. Also more cone area is a plus with going IB. You can get away with a single 12 IB, which is what I'm doing.

Generally, you would want to look for subs with a low FS and high QTS>.5

That is not a must, though.
