Im sorry, we would all love a bangin system that comes pre-assembled for practically free, but its not gonna happen.

and yes, that sub you linked will work.

if you can use a saw and a drill, build your own box. I can even design you one if you want.

Subs are like snakes.........bright colors mean stay the **** away.

The colors are just there to distract you from the god awful sound coming from them.

However, if you are seriously strapped for cash, get the visionik, use it till you have some dough and build yourself a proper audio system.

Wow, so much help on here.
I know the basics and I was offer 2 10" subs, wiring kit, and a nice head unit for $200.

I figured someone on here could help me out though guess not. You guys all must of been born nerds and knew everything from the start, eh?

Would this head unit work instead of the one you suggested? Mainly because I was to be able to use my ipod video for music. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10756735

Also if you could design me a sub box, that would be awesome, I could construct it without a doubt I bet, or at least getting some help from my shop class lol. But it says on the sub that it should be 2.2-5 cubic feet that previous box I showed you was only 2 cu feet. Should I make it like 4 cubic feet?

As others have said, $300 is not enough if you don't have anything. If you only had to buy a sub & amp combo, then it will be different, at least you can get something decent.

You say you like songs with a lot of bass, with a small budget like that, you are just going to be pissed off that it doesn't sound like you want.

I had a budget earlier this year too, I had planned to spend around 2K on a HU, processor & 2 amps. Well, that budget fell to under 1K. I originally wanted to buy an Alpine w505 and a JL Audio HD 600/4 & 750/1. Well I settled for a Alpine x305 and a temporary small Kicker 4 ch amp. Well, let me tell you , all that was sold about a month later because I wasn't happy with it, and I knew what I wanted.

Lesson learned, don't just buy something to buy something, WAIT until you have enough money for some decent equipment.

Yeah but I don't want the loudest system in Illinois. I just want the loudest in my school haha. Btw my school has about 500 people in it and almost everyone has stock systems. I just want one that will be loud and better than everyone else's.
