I want you to design me a system

Don't laugh at my car or my price limit because I'm not going to spend thousands of dollars on it.

I have a 1997 Buick Park Avenue, all default shit so far.

I want a new cd player/head unit/stereo and some/one subs but some people are telling me I need to buy a wiring kit, speakers, and at least one amp.

What does the amp do? What do I plug into it? How big does it need to be?

I just got a car, so I'm not that smart with sound systems yet, but I am good at electronics. I would like to learn a thing or two about them.

I want to spend ~$200-300 but nothing much. I would rather keep it under 250 if you could.

If you could get me everything I need for that price, I would be very happy. I clearly don't want the best system out there, I just want something that will be loud and hit the bass, I listen to alot of young jeezy and lil wayne and they have quite a bit of bass. Space is not an issue, I have an enormous trunk.

Not really, but it was compared to the others.

I live in a small town and we don't have any flee markets or such. I planned on buying everything on-line.

used kicker comp 10-12" and a mm... zx400.1? MAYBE.. but install it yourself and make your own box etc otherwise you can't afford that.

could pick up some lanzar max pros as well.

Otherwise, lanzar max pro ( single )/ old kenwood hu from here / wiring misc from here / make your own box or pay someone on here.. maybe they will give you a deal ).. could probably find an older hifonics amp as well.
