I want you to design me a system

Those Fusions are crap. I know someone who bought them (he didn't ask me first) and he's on his third set. Either the amp craps out or a sub goes out. Then he heard my system and he says "man your 1 12 off ~500w hits harder than my 2 12s!!" Yeah. Duhhh.

Really if you have a job, buy one thing at a time so you can get better stuff. Buy one item a month then install it all at once and you'd be a LOT happier. Start with the head unit. Do you have an iPod/MP3 player? If so you'll probably want a head unit that has an AUX input or direct iPod connection. Almost everything these days comes with both, so look around.

get a cheap used 4 ch amp off the for sale here.

use 2 channels for left/right to a pair of 6by9's

and bridge the other 2 channles for a small sub.

thats how I rocked for a fiew months in the vette while I was sinking all my $ in to

repairs to keep the dam thing on the road.

I'm selling my Alpine MRV-F345 for $150 shipped if you're interested. Its birthsheet shows 104x4, but rated at 75x4 or 75x2 + 300x1 all at 4 ohms. Basically you could run a small set of component speakers and a decent sub all off the one amp. Like we have said, save up and buy one good thing at a time, rather than buy a bunch of crap all at once...

Would I need to buy speakers then or just use the default speakers that are in the car?

i have a 5 channel alpine f320 for $75 shipped.it would power all your speakers and a sub and if you show it a 2 ohm load on the sub channel it bangs pretty good....for $125 shipped i can throw in a set of BNIB lanzar heritage components.that leaves a good bit for a sub and HU

Thats a pretty good deal.

5 channel is the way to go for a first system I think.

Heck, Im still using mine.

bologna, that fusion setup is crap.
spend an extra $50 on top of the setup i listed and get some speakers if you want

Should I get http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8555_Kicker+07C154.html that instead of the other sub you posted? Because shipping is free on that one and on the other one its 26$. So I would only have to pay $5 for that one. Is it worth the $5?

Also should I get this for a box? Would it be right for the sub? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7597_Sonic+Sub+Box-+1H15-2.0.html

Looking at your budget, i would reccommend searching local for whatever you can get before trying to buy online. Look at craigslist. Theres always bound to be cheap shit on there.
