I upper decked someone today!!!!

I work for Atlas Van Lines. I've been there or 18 yrs ...started when I was 13 going out on trucks in the summer. My dad ran the warehouse for 20 yrs, and both my brothers own trucks there, as well as I. I actually just bought a brand new Kenworth w/ the twin turbo. Man it drives sooooo nice. I just hate the payment.......$2300 a month:crying:
so your a 31 year old mover, whos complaining online that he wasnt treated nicely while doing his job? Um yea....youve got a bright future....your a mature one.

I think it's ridiculous to expect a tip. I really don't care what job you do, a tip is a reward for a job well done. Lastr weekend we had bought a new sofa/loveseat the delivery guys showed up with a couch that was obviously stained and gave attitude when we said we wouldn't accept it then when they came back with another couch I worked harder than they did to get the set into our basement. I even had to tell them how to fit the couch in because they said it wouldn't fit then I had carry the one side of the couch while the one mover carried the pillows to the basement.

Even for a waiter/waitress has to do their job reasonably well to expect a tip from me. If the service is good I'll tip well if we are completely ignored you don't get a tip.

If I'm sweating my balls off doing the best I can, and have done that job for as long as he has, I would **** well expect a tip, if not a tip atleast offered something cold to drink or have people go out and get some food for me if they are already going. *If they are given money*

How much more time would it have taken to get 3 more pizzas, I mean the assholes were already going there in the first place.

When I bust my *** for people I expect something in return, if its just a glass of cold water I appreciate it but if your moving into a multi-million dollar house, you've got the extra money to tip someone whos moving ALL OF YOUR SHIT.

Have some f'ing decency people.

offering beverages and food would be the nice thing to do, but the person shouldn't be punished if they choose not to do so. It's your fukking job, you should have the common sense to come prepared but apparently you don't.

Your hunger, your thirst, your problem. Try taking responsibility for your own needs instead of relying on others to provide for you and acting like a juvenile *** when they don't.

You are getting something in return, its called a fukking paycheck.

Who the fuk are you, the decency police? What gives you the right to dole out punishments to those you deem indecent.

You are both douches.

i gotta agree here... it is you that was hired to do a job not them... it isnt their job to do anything for you. I would think you would come with food and water... come prepaired and this wont be a problem. Sounds like a fast way to get fired or hurt...

courtesy is a must in any respectful situation, and they didnt show him any respect... so he showed them some shit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif  //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I worked my *** off for 4 years mowing yards. I unload fedex trucks at work. I've helped several of my friends move. I know how much it sucks to do manual labor in the sun. So if someone is going to move my shit, I'm going to take care of them.

Apparently not everyone on this forum busts their *** outside for a living...
apparantly you choose to do that sort of work. so quit your b!tching

in the future if you expect those things from the person, get it in writing, otherwise you are stuck crying on the internet making a fool of yourself.

boy, you and these other idiots who think tipping/offering stuff is outrageous really need to do 60 hrs of manual labor a week, and then come see me. you fegs prolly just sit around, protecting your precious hands and getting your ***** numb in a chair.

i never said its a must, just a nice gesture, but you douche's are soooo fvcking cheap to realize.

i do have a bright future, and will be retired well before you, so stfu, douchebag.

you act like movers are low on the "money making" ladder, but i guarantee i make more than you ever will. Its still nice however, to be treated well, wether its a tip, or whatever.

Of course most wouldnt understand, because most who disagree on here do jobs that dont count as labor.

By the way I'm an electrician, I've gotten panicked calls from people who were in the middle of cooking thanksgiving/christmas dinners because they are having problems with their power. I've never expected anything extra for running out on my family to help these people.

If it was a long job I'd offer a drink to the people working around my house, but and if I was going out anyway I'd pick them up something but it's not my responsibility to feed you. If I know I'm going to be working a long day I have these things called a cooler, you can put food and drinks in it and it keeps them (get this) cold!
