Is there job not to ensure everything goes well? I am an analyst. When I find a way to save the government a quarter million dollars, do I get a tip? No. That is called doing my job. Saving the American taxpayers money is my job. I do it and do it well. I don't expect a tip because that is my job.
Not all, but most companies who get their workers to move because of their job pay for the move, and everything related w/ it, like transportation, romm and board, etc. They also, get money just for tipping the movers who'll be there. I know this for a fact, because I've even had friends who had to do so. Some companies give expense money, and the tip money has been $200, all the way up to $1000 in some cases. You dont know to tip movers because you havent experienced that whole situation, but its a very common practice, and most customers do it. Of course all people dont do so, some because they just dont know, or even think of it. I'm just a different person, I guess. I like to take care of the people who do services for ME, and my family. My JOB is to move, and I do it VERY well, but people tip delivery guys forbeing @ their house for 30 seconds, but not the people who've been around them for 3-4 days straight, making sure their personal belongings are well taken care of?
