I think i found the perfect sub for me

So im new to audio like most people know and i blew my subs because my amp was just to big! (boston acoustics gt-24 900 watts true power in mono) and i have been looking for just one single 12 inch sub that would be cheap because i am a 18 year old with a minimum wage job and no hours! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif. So I figured id just go to best buy and check out some subs and figured hey ill buy a cheap sub and just blow it up in another month and then get a new one haha. But i think i found a sub that will actually last its the Insignia 12" 1800 watt peak power 600rms sub. which i didnt know that insignia is power acoustik and thats there old fubar series so for 85 bucks for a 600rms sub im going to give it a try. Which im also having them install it at best buy and i kno everyone will be mad but im new and i just rather have the guy install it and make everything run just peachy again and im going to get it installed with a warranty and have all my probs with the amp solved for 140 bucks with it installed him reinstalling the amp checking everything. You guys also must realize im not a big audio like you guys are im just getting audio out of the way for my car so i can move forward in the more performance section. I will be changing the way my system is setup though and clean everything all up.

Don't feel to bad now. We all had to start somewere. At least you have a start. It was some time before I got my first sub. When you start making more money you can upgrade as you go along. It's really neat when you do. It's sounds like you have a whole new system when you upgrade. One thing that really helps is to be patient and do you homework. This fprum can really help. how do you guys think that sub performs i mean for the money its pretty mean. The installer at best buy said that he suggest this insignia 12 inch over the 12 inch type r and i would understand that because of the price and that it does exceed it over 100rms. so im excited

The newest Type-R actually has some pretty impressive cooling in the motor... I examined their cut-away at CES and I liked what I saw.

for 100 bucks that insignia is pretty mean. Alpine has quality yes but you also pay for the quality the alpine type r was in my price range but i wanted to save money. lol to urself man for 100 bucks you dont think a 600rms sub is pretty **** good. especially when ur as broke as i am. its just a stereo im not worried about making my car fall apart i mean seriously. Most of the cars you guys throw theese systems in are biscuits and i wouldnt be caught dead even being in some of the cars i saw on here.
