lol to urself man for 100 bucks you dont think a 600rms sub is pretty **** good. especially when ur as broke as i am. its just a stereo im not worried about making my car fall apart i mean seriously. Most of the cars you guys throw theese systems in are biscuits and i wouldnt be caught dead even being in some of the cars i saw on here.

for a 116 shipped u can get a mach 5 audio MJ 18 that handles 600 rms but throw 700 on it it should take it

Much better for the money. Anything from mach 5 audio. The type-r can be had for around $100 bucks online. PG Rsd is an amazing sub for ~$90-110 online. Really should have come here for advice before you bought. You would have been much happier.

poor guy... seems to trust the bb and cc folks. so take it from me, an ex-circuit city installer. insignia sucks. if you haven't bought it already, dont. if you give a shit, spend a few days researching things on forums, long enough to find out who knows what they're talking about and who doesn't. just because we tell you someone is trying to (or already has) sell you garbage doesn't mean we're hating, we're just being honest, going off of the years of experience we have, so you don't have to find out the hard way.

type-r's aren't bad for the money. if you want to be lazy and not do any research, pick one up, get yourself a good amp and call it a day.

You really shouldnt be allowed to talk ever again after those statements. BB installers **** ***? Im pretty sure the senior and full time installer at my BB can "out-install" you any day. Can you install a Viper 160XV with a XK06 bypass in under 3 hours and guarantee it will work flawless and all panels will still be intact and unbroken? I doubt you can. Also that insignia sub he is talking about can handle 1000W RMS all day long. Its a pretty beefy sub actually. We have that, the type R, and P3 on display in the same box and running off the same amp the Type R and Insignia are pretty **** close. Both trump the p3.

Funny, because everyone I know that has EVER had anything done by BB has been sorely disappointed. Like the guy two blocks down from me who had a deck install done and the jus wedged the thing in with metal shims instead of using the proper dash kit. Covered up their shitty work and left it at that.

And I'm pretty sure just about every post you make these days is followed up by comments like "are you still here" and so on. You should take people's advice and just go away.

i worked at best buy for a year and bought 2 of those to mess with, they were louder than my type r's and x's in 7cubes @ 33hz off of a bxi2006d. the only thing was they sounded like shit and would melt the coil after about two minutes at full volume.
