i set my gains but my subs kinda smells after its up for a 45min or so period?

I have a ALpine its like last years model but comparable to the CDA-100 I don't really remember the exact model i know it has 2v pre outs for the sub

THey are wired at 2 ohms on a MRP-1000 it does about 1150RMS according to the birth sheet the volts i should put out are 46.9 for 1000 watts and 48.9 for 1100 so i set it at 46.0 to be safe i am using my Laptop for tones cuz i cannot find a way to get a 50hz -3db tone onto a Disk
