Hey guys. I dont know many people that have been in this scituation. I was arrested on a possession schedule 3. Was held overnight, made personal recogninze bail the next morning. Now i dont know what that charge entails. Do you guys think ill be alright with a public defender, or pop for a full fledged lawyer? Anyone ever charged with possession before? Also, its my first offense, clean record otherwise.

i got busted on the border of PA and OH, had 2 pounds on me in my mother's boyfriends car... now they didnt arrest me or impound the car due to a few resons i cant remeber.... a few month's later i had to go to court in PA. got a lawyer ( friend of the family) and i got away with personal possesion rather then drug trafficing and intent to sale due to the fact i had baggies and a scale..

but all in all my lawyer got everything dropped except the possession.. and i also have a clean record thanks to my lawyer on this one...

it's worht it to have a lawyer man... way worth it.. i got lucky..

I dont know how many lawyers are here on ca.com, but hope shiz goes well for you. I'd vote for a lawyer though, they do wonders...just look at OJ.

If it's marijuana, I don't think it'll be that 'bad'. But if it's say coke, meth, heroin, crack, ect.. I'd say you're in it pretty bad.
