I am no stranger to the processes.Best post in the lounge in a month...someone recognizes the real world. Pops used to take a few DA's to lunch EVERY Friday...he didn't do it because he loved them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
it would have been the same either way. i had my lawyer walk me thru what would happen and i did it exactly how he said. worked flawlessly. but in my case the cop never showed, so it was dismissed.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gifthat $500 might buy you a free ticket outta this thing...thats a cheap price to get this thing done too.
Then move on to the next one. He obviously doesn't have the means to help.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif none of you have been to law school (i would believe...) and thats what a lawyer told me. he said you can pay me $500 to talk to the DA, or you can do it yourself. if it's your word against an officer you know who will win that battle. do as you wish, but that'd be the best way IMO. and hope the popo doesnt show for court
If you get a good lawyer who is known in the courts (and outside of them) then its a hell of a lot better chance then the convict talking straight to the judge. All that money doesnt just go towards your lawyer, i can assure you there are "gifts" and "dinners" that come into play. Its called politics.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif none of you have been to law school (i would believe...) and thats what a lawyer told me. he said you can pay me $500 to talk to the DA, or you can do it yourself. if it's your word against an officer you know who will win that battle. do as you wish, but that'd be the best way IMO. and hope the popo doesnt show for court

Nuh uh. I learnt that schooling articulation and big words are all you need //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifIf you get a good lawyer who is known in the courts (and outside of them) then its a hell of a lot better chance then the convict talking straight to the judge. So just cos you talked to a lawyer and something worked in your case its going to work for everyone else? I dont think so...you're dealing with different variables.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif none of you have been to law school (i would believe...) and thats what a lawyer told me. he said you can pay me $500 to talk to the DA, or you can do it yourself. if it's your word against an officer you know who will win that battle. do as you wish, but that'd be the best way IMO. and hope the popo doesnt show for court
the cop saw it, and if the cop is there he will say he saw it. whats the defense? "no i didn't"? you're GUILTY!So just cos you talked to a lawyer and something worked in your case its going to work for everyone else? I dont think so...you're dealing with different variables.
But your advice is to wait it out and hope that his cop doesnt show up. That sounds like pretty shtty advice to me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifthe cop saw it, and if the cop is there he will say he saw it. whats the defense? i've been to court plenty of times (with this and a couple other cases) and i'm just saying thats how i've observed it. maybe your judges will let you pay them off or whatever. all i am saying is that worked for me, and he did ask for advice. thats my advise.
OP, feel free to do whatever you wish. not my case to defend...

Yet thats not how you got out of your sht, you got out of it because your cop didnt show up. I think its retarded to represent yourself, especially considering what you are up against. I would personally throw every fcking dime i had to make sure id keep my *** at home instead of on a cold mat.my advice was self-representation. read the thread
i'm not denying that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i'm sayin this case is similar to mine, and i made a deal with the DA. had the cop shown up, i would be on papers for 2yrs. even if i paid a lawyer, guess what, 2yrs papers...Yet thats not how you got out of your sht, you got out of it because your cop didnt show up.
