1800 bucks just to get rid of it. I got a new truck and had no room for it. And the recipt has the car make model and vin # on it along with as is and so on.how much did you sell it for ?
The only way anyone could have had an idea is if it had a rod knock which it didnt. Had the dreaded mitsubishi lifter tick but no rod knock of any sort. Just kinda pisses me off that his dumbass blows the motor and tries to say its my faulthis loss /thread
he signed the receipt with the words AS IS on it. Tell him to take you to court for the cash if he THINKS he can get it (not gonna happen) Im sure he test drove it, looked it over, listened to it etc. Theres no way in h3ll you can KNOW a rod is going to break in a motor. It happens when it happens.
More than likely. I told him it needed an oil change. I was completely honest with him about everything wrong with it to my knowledge which wasnt much. Hell he drove it, his best friend drove it, even his dad drove it and they all approved of it.5 speed, he says he was at 5k, so add 2 more k off that. He was probably doing burnouts, and bouncin off the rev limiter all day.
How is it my fault. And I sold it because I got a new truck and had no use for the car anymore. And the 100 miles doesnt mean anything. You can destroy a brand new motor in perfect condition in less than 100 miles if you try hard enough100 miles ? na it was messed up when you sold it, and thats probably why you sold it, as is or not you still gotta make it right...!
