I am looking for some recommendations based on experience or logical reviews...

MY CRITERIA: $1500 bucks is my max

AT LEAST 46"

NO BIG SCREEN TV's Please 1080P NOT necessary, but would be nice

what do you guys have for me. I have been researching a little but.. Seems like Samsung can't be a bad choice according to CNet.com reviews

I think he meant no old bigscreen tvs (Not LCD. plasma or dlp)

Check out samsung DLPs at bestbuy or circuit city. They are nice

and stay away from Mitsubishi DLP's........if going DLP definately get an LED DLP

Go with a higher end Sony or Samsung LCD their black levels and contrast are supposed to be the best. I can't recall exact model numbers but definitely go for the higher end models that you can find at best buy and circuit city. If you don't go 1080p you can save a lot of money. I think 42" is more common than 46".

I went with an LG that's awesome but I'm kicking myself for not paying a little more for the samsung! doh! I was doing the 12months no payments or interest deal too.

i picked up a Toshiba Regza 42" LCD at ABC Warehouse for 800...love it. Its only 720p but thats fine for i use it for.

But for most of you, I have already checked best buy, circuit city... As I said, I have done some looking around, just trying to find out if there are any good deals, or cheap websites hiding around
