I have a huge problem with "remembering" 9/11

lets see, in 3 days....24 hours in a day....minus sleep......minus resting......3 mph walking speed average........about 100+ miles....plenty far enough to get inland away from the storm surge
lol you are not going to walk 72 hours straight //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

what are you saying?

I am saying that Peal Harbor is still memoriolized after 50 years. People still talk about it, history is still taught on it. The last of the people that were there are dying off. Do you think that it will ever be forgotten? I still go to my grandfathers house any chance possible to be with him on the days he cares most about.

Even if you dont know somone who was effected by 9/11...The USA was still attacked and that is all that should matter. Thousands of people lost thier lives in a very short instant. Many of these were our firefighters, and police officers trying to help those in need.

I think that this day should be remembered and recognized forever. Just as every other major occurance in recorded history is.

really?....i'm not?....no crap......which is why i said minus time for sleeping and resting......you could walk 100 miles in about 33 hours.......from the 72 they had that leaves 39 hours to fuck off and still get out of harms way.......

hmm... i rember that day still.Exspeaclly(sp) since i heard the plane crash into the pentagon i could see the smoke from my house, My dad being a marine knew sevrel people who were hurt in the attack. We had pictures but lost them when we moved up to MI.

So i can remeber it quite well.

ok where are they suppose to go? what are they suppose to eat? and drink?

nagan was the reason so many people died....plain and simple....if he had done his job as mayor and gotten the people out BEFORE the storm got there it wouldn't have been nearly as bad in the loss of life.......

he did what he could. why was rescue so slow to new orleans? you knew a hurricane would wipe out all their resources, so you knew ahead of time federal help was gonna be needed. they declared a state of emergency before katrina hit, they knew this was gonna be a deadly storm.

hell, just walking to a place 20 miles inland and above sea level could have saved alot of people.....if they had used all of the resources they had at their disposal they would have been alot better off

for the second time.......rescue is not the "responsibility" of the federal government

anybody rescued should be charged for the helicopter usage after they get back on their feet.......why should we have to pay for their stupidity
