i have a few questions

what is the difference between 4 ohm stereo and 4 ohm mono? i have a 4 channel amp, diamond audio d3 400.4 and when bridged, it does 200x2 at 4 ohm mono. but when not bridged, it dos 50x4 at 4 ohm stereo.

i am planning on buying 2x image dynamics id8 v.3 d2 subs at 150 rms each. is this the wiring diagram to hook these up to my amp? i just would have to bridge my amp rite?

if your wanting to use a 4 channel amp to power those D2 subs....ur ohm load on the subs need to be final 4 ohms...that wiring diagram gets you to 4 ohms....so insead of D2 subs you need D4.

i am bridging my amp to get 4 ohm mono since it does 200x2 at 4ohm mono bridged. i cant hook up both the D2 subs like that? i thought they be seeing 4 ohm mono anyway if bridged

OP you have it right. You need two D2's, each wired individually to a 4ohm load.

sry man my fault....i thought i read 200x2 @ 2ohm....my bad....but yea that diagram is right and im not sure on the whole mono stereo thing.
