People go try this song in your car

How is Gucci Mane main stream crap? I think when you drop at least a mixtape a month your def not main stream. But to the OP, there is a bass track thread pinned in the subwoofers section......

Because it sounds like the same crap I hear on the radio. I really don't hear a single rap song on the radio that is what I'd consider to be of good quality. Everything talks about the same thing, has t-pain or some other retard making strange noises in the background, or has some mongoloid DJ spouting his name every chance he gets.

Mix tapes have nothing to do with anything. Wayne has a million, and he's still a shitty mainstream rapper that regurgitates the same thing over and over...while sounding like a moron.

You're retarded if you listen to rap for the lyrical content. You're also retarded if you think "old school" or "non-mainstream" rap is better because the lyrics are "real". It's all still garbage and lame so the bass line should be the only thing you should worry about.

I also find the beats generally annoying as well. Not to mention hearing some guy pretending to be a street-hard badass using lousy similies isn't very appealing as well. Throw that on top of some annoying beat and there you have it, radio ready hip-pop.

There are three types of music:

1. Songs that sound good in your ride.

2. Songs that you like the lyrics to.

And if you're lucky.....

3. Songs that sound good, and you like the lyrics.

Most of what I have on my mp3 player "sounds good". Some of it I really like, buy maybe 25% or so. The other 75% hits deep and has crisp clean highs, but I would never listen to much of it if I was riding in someone else's car. I got chit I would have to turn down if I pulled up to a light and somebody was standing on the corner. Turn it right back up when I pull off.......

i second this, if i coulkd just get instrumentals to alot of rap ide be straight

90% of the time when I listen to rap music, it's in my car. The other exceptions to listening to it is when my playlist is on shuffle and one of my gangsta rap songs that I play in my car comes on.

But, outside of my car I really don't listen to much rap.

However, I don't strictly play rap in my ride. I very much enjoy cruising around to songs with nice mids and highs rather than having the bass drown my fronts.

I've had the Carter 3 since it first came out and I know the basslines for every song on that album. But I don't even know the words to most of those songs' versus...and I've listened to that album countless times, I basically just play it for the bass. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif
