I think I am using 12awg for the subs... Should I up that as well???

I use the NVX 12awg for my subs but it's only available for $40 batches. This is pretty decent though.

I am using skyhigh OFC 12awg on the subs. Maybe 10awg would be better wit a 3kw amp?

As long as it's not 10ft + runs and its copper that shouldn't be a problem

I got 8g on my subs becasue I had it and there used to be kid working with 8g coming off his battery...so I could crack on him that my speaker wire was the same as power

Generally speaking, for runs of 6ft or less, even 12 gauge is overkill. If you have 12, I think you're good!
