How strong are you?

I would like to see some proof here. It seems like everyone on here is benching around 250 which is a **** lot. Of course maybe only the big guys are writing into this thread. That is a possibility to. But still a guy who benches close to 300 pounds is going to be pretty **** big. I had a kid in my high school who claimed to have the world record for bench press for 16 year olds and he was massive and doing 425 pounds. I actually saw a video of it. Very impressive. So why don't some of you who bench around 300 post some videos or atleast take some pictures.

i was just about to say that... it takes a long long tmie to work up to those types of weights. Unless you all are using creatine and protien and all that stuff. But im 17 6 foot and around 235, i bench 225 6 times, squat 315 5 tmies i want some proof and kids who are 175 benchin 300 i gotta see

Bench, Squat and Leg Press were my strength back in the day. When I was a Sr. in h/s i blew out my right knee squatting 435 on a Max Out day. And yes phat I did go down that far, then again, I think I've shown you pics of when I used to work out back in the day. Bench was around 265 at the time and leg press was high enough that only the 3 state wrestler's in my school could do more. When I was at that time in school I was about 5'11 and about 200lbs. Now I'm almost 6'3 about 265 and fat.

a few on here i know for a fact can bench/squat what they say as i've known them for years but i agree, a 17yr old who's only weighing 145-170 can't bench over 250. There just isn't that much muscle mass in your body, that or you have the longest or orangutan arm's i've ever heard of.

i dont take pics/videos cuz i'm not impressed with myself, if i put up 300 thats not even my current body weight... woopty freakin doo, its alot more impressive for a 185lb guy puttin up say 250.... maybe i dont feel strong cuz my older brother is 6 inches shorter, over 100lbs lighter and has bigger shoulders and can own me at everything strength wise and when i was at college i met a lot of seriously strong guys, i fall in the mediocre at best.

You are in high school. A sophmore right? You aren't squatting no 415 going down parallel. Your balls just dropped for godsake. I see a lot of high school kids in the gym, none of them go down far enough because they want to look impressive with 3 plates on each side or whatever. There might be a 3 people in my gym that go down far enough with 400+, and they've been lifting a long time. My guess is that you go down about 45 degrees. Which is half way.
i would have to disagree with you, round here in Southern Louisiana most of our local high schools and alot of college kids come work out with a guy by the name of Kurt Hester. anyways last summer they had about 4 sophmores squat 550+ kids these days are ridiculous in the weight room, if i had been serious about lifting for football i would be alot farther than i am right now. i have only worked out hardcore for one summer and throughout the year. but im just sayin there are kids out there now that are doin crazy ****in weight so i dont call bullshit on that kid

Last time I maxed out on the bench was when I was a sophomore in HS. I weighed somewhere around 225. Maxed out on the bench at 325 at a weight lifting meet. Cant remember what I squatted. That was about....oh my gosh, about 19 years ago.

Yeah, I believe people like you who are doing around their body weight. It is just hard to believe some of these people who are doing almost 200% of their weight. I am not saying it isn't possible. There was that kid on tv who weighed like 80 pounds and benched over 200, so I know it is true. I think if you do a search on "world strongest boy" or something like that you will see him. So it is possible, I would just like to see some proof when people make statements like that.
