I hate the people that are saying it either shouldn't count, or should get an asterisk, if he does break it, because it is between 2 seasons. IMO it's MUCH harder for him to keep it going with so much time away from regular season baseball...baseball is all about timinig...and it takes most hitters a little time to get into a groove...
