ok guys i just bought a Nissan 300zx with a blown Bose system... i have a set of CDT CL-61a w/ 1" silk tweeters and a set of Focal Polyglass 6.5" comps... they will be powered by a JBL bp180.2, pushing roughly 90 watts to each set... now, my question is which set should i install in the front? i was thinking i should probably do the focals, but i'm not too sure... in the near future, i will be building custom boxes for my 10" boston acoustic pro series subs, probably run off of a jbl bp600.1... i'm also about to purchase a Clarion DXZ925 to power the entire system... what do you guys think??

Wait, u only have 2 focal speakers and 2 tweeters? If so then why dont u put the focals in the back itll cover up the whole car if u want the sound going thru it all.

Please be more brief when u try to expain yourself. All your asking is where to position ur equipment..... i do make sense so listen to me put the darn focals in the back ok.

You should learn to listen more...

Rear fill totally ****s up the music soundstage, unless you have 5.1 ior 6.1 in your car there is no need for rear speakers since music is recorded is stereo (2 channel). Just imagine if all the sound at a concert came from behind you. Now that would sound like shit, same applies to a car.

And now you will say, well I have lots of rear passengers and I want them to hear the music too. Well, if you install the front soundstage well enough they won't be able to even tell that there isn't any speakers in the rear. Nobody that has sat in my car has noticed yet, and will pay $50 to the first person that does without me telling them.

How about that... i have 3x5s pioneers in the back with built in tweeters and people can hear me from far away with " concert" like life noise with my amp. You put it in the front then ur subs if their strong enough will be louder then ur front speakers or tweeters for that matter so again i ask u why u must add my name to ur profile because if i start up a list u wouldnt like it either...

Ya, but everyone knows I am not an idiot.

And about that other crap, thats why you match everything to one another, if your sub is weak, then you either learn how to build a good box, or amp down your front soundstage.

BTW, I don't give a flying **** if someone can hear me from far away, the music is ment for being inside the car, so thats far enough.

Good point well one type R doesnt really hit hard the point is i need it loud because my subs knock i like pure bass so yeah i put the bass knob all the way up therefore i need more interior quality as well so i raise up the interior amp gets a heck of a nice sound nice and clear.

haha, man, keep proving my point...

My Type R is plenty loud, loud enough to perfectly match my Type X components.

And you won't have your subs very long turning up the remote woofer cooker long. Please don't talk about quality becuase obviously you don't know what quality is.

You sure? lol I know alot about car audio infact to prove i do i have the rockford amp turned all the way up lets see why? the 8000 is 400 rms 800 tops and the amp is 700 watts so i have 2 8000's do the math 350 each sub at 2 ohms stereo yes the amp is all the way up because again i like pure bass and infact it matches well because the interiors are loud baddda bingggg //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/clap.gif.178cba2c538c68e720c727fcb024b19c.gif
