How should i set them up in my trunk (02 civic LX sedan)

Is it alright to mount the amp to the top of the sub box? How would i do it?

If not, when i put the amp side by side i would need to move the sub over to the right more and it wouldn't be centered in the trunk... will that make a difference?

I'm trying to save as much space as possible.

Here's some shitty pictures that gives some idea of the space/sizes (except the height of the amp but that's only like 2 inches)

Amp on sub:

Amp next to sub (the port of the sub is on the right side):

Or, is there another way i should be looking at it?

Can you fiberglass?

I'd say mounting the amp on the back of the seat and glassing the enclosure on the side of the trunk will save you the most space...or for a cleaner look, flush the amp into a false floor.

No, i can't fiberglass. I am looking for the easiest way to do this and i would put the amp by the extra tire but that would just make it 10 times harder to get to the tire if i ever do get a flat.

Edit: How would i mount the amp to the box? Do i have to drill anything or is there an easier/safer way to do it?
