What's up guys. I just installed these two, wired at one ohm. Everything seems fine except one thing. When the sub hits like..down, when its down ( not like excusrion..) it sounds kinda wierd. Like when it hits down. Anyone have any ideas?

That combination is just not meant to be. The RL-P and Orion 600D just do not like each other. I was running a similar setup to yours when I decided the 600D was not going to work out so I got the eD Nine.1 and now I am very satisfied

i dont think anyone knows what your talking about
I don't either.

OP I have no clue what you are saying? So on low notes the subs sounds weird, is that what you are saying?

I don't know I just went out and listed to it now, and it sounds fine..it was just on a certain song. Maybe it's just ratteling noise..

I think hes trying to say the sub is making a weird noise when it pulls in "moves down" as opposed to exurting outward. I think the sub is bottoming out when it moves inward. but i dont see how off a 600d

what song? whats the gain set at?
D4L - Betcha cant do it like me..Uh Idk..yet to set it.

Exactly.

ive ran across that b4. when i first got my rl-p i guess i was puttin too much power into it, 600w to be exact. and the excursion caused the cone to smack the basket. i then rewired it to 8 ohms 400w, and it eliminated my problem, but i didnt appear to lose any output. i didnt measure so its purely subjective.
