How should I fill this gap in my dash?

I ordered a double Din kit that could hold 2 single dins, but it sucked and I had to modify it a little. Anyways, there are so many wires from both units that I can't put the trim back on all the way and it sticks out a little.

I need to know what I can use to fill in the gaps. I was thinking bondo or something. I don't want do any glassing over something like this.

That's my HU on the bottom and a Lilliput indash touchscreen //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif Carputer is not in yet though, been too cold to do the install.

u said u didnt want to do glassing, but its ur only choice. Or else u need to get in thre and clean up the wiring so it fits correctly... im sure u can do it just orgainize as much as u can

There must be a way to get it to sit flush, I recommend organizing the wires so it will slide back.

Bondo or fiberglass or any body filler will just look like garbage and will make it a pain in the *** to remove the unit in the future.

x2 on that, just sit down with it for a few hours, take everything out and start zip tying stuff together. im sure you can make it work..mine is the same way for some reason all my rcas sirius wires..etc

Did you cut the stock plastic bracket off ?If you didnt, thats probably why it doesnt sit in properly
Stock plastic bracket? Please explain. I'll take a picture of the inside of my dash later on today.

I've tried making as much room as I can by moving the cables around, but it is very hard. Both of the units are pretty much stuck to the mounting kit which is stuck to the trim (had to epoxy the dam install kit together as well as epoxy the kit to the trim ) so it makes it kind of hard to maneuver.

Its white, sits behind the h/u so the chassis can rest on it.

Just rip it out, its in the way

I forgot to post the picture, but I know what you're talking about. Only thing is, the bracket houses the OBD connection, but that's no biggy.

Anyways, I finally got it to fit! I had to relocate the alarm slightly and move some wires, but at least it sits flush now.
