I will be running two alternators, one is the stock 80a bosche unit charging the 12v kinetik hc2000 under the hood. The other will be a 300a mechman unit with adjustable voltage.
My equipment will be the following:
1 2005 memphis 4000.1
1 2005 memphis mca300/4 for tweeters
1 2007 kicker zx850.4.
I have room for up to 4 additional batteries.
I will definietly want to run the mono mojo on 16v or more
I also have a spare 12v optima yellowtop unused.
I was thinking I would run the 300/4 on the 12v circuit and the 850.4 on the 16v circuit if it is possible. Does anyone know if the class ab zx850.4 can be safely ran at high voltage? If not, I can find another highoutput class ab for my b&c pa midranges I will be installing... if anyone could suggest an amp they know will handle the same voltages as the 4000.1 I would appreciate it. Finally, is powermaster the name in the game of 14v and 16v batteries? Thananks for any help.
