What power are you running op? I have experience with the newer model xxx. If looking just to crush decaf like lows id personally do 2.5 tuned to 28. That’s just me though. I never tune a box over 30hz for myself. Also as long as your not sending more than rated power to it. My xxx 15 played nice and low in 5 cubes tuned to 29 with two 6” Aeros. But shredder there is the guy to hit up not irritate when trying to get someone to help you model the box.

Honestly, I don't think that's enough amp for a xxx

Not sure if you're not wanting to go over that 2k mark but a clean 3500 would really open that sub up.

Im gonna feed it 2000 watts rms.. And with those measurements I got 3.22 .. That's using 1inch.. 3/4. It's 3.5. That's what I just got on torres

I really wanna run that sub tho.. I love the way it sounds.. I figured 2k would at least get it moving.. The website recommends that. I know it'll take like 4k is the most I've heard.. Would 2500 rms be enough?

You think your gonna run the sub and amp on stock electrical and be fine with it, mistaken you are. 2500 rms is fine....doubt you'll see that amount anyway.

You ain't got to be smart a$$ .. I know I can't run 2500 off stock electrical.. I don't really want to have to upgrade my alternator though. I planned on buying batteries.. I didn't want to go over 2k.. It'll probably be 2800 rms total so I'm gonna get an alternator.. It's a 2007 silverado 4.8 what size alternator do I need?
