How Many Run Just With 1 Subwoofer

I personally like to run single sub set ups. But really, you cannot tell if it will be louder than dual set ups. Its just on what you want to do.

I've only had 1 system out of about 8-9 that has been more than 1 sub.. not by choice, shitty trunk car w/no room. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I've had a CSS SDX 15", RE SE 15", Fi BL 15", RE HC 15", some other misc 15s, & now I have the Adassa 18".. mehh.

If I had the room, I'd be doing a much larger system.

I love having a single sub back there and when people ride with you, they are amazed.

I had a JL 15W0 for my first sub for over a year.

Then switching to 2 PR 12s.

I was very happy switching back to a single 15, my HDC3.

So you still don't know what a good system sounds like. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

If your single sub setup is/was louder than your dual sub setup you either started with dual sony xplods or don't know how to properly install subs. 2 will always win if its equal equiptment. I ran 2x 12" type Rs and a single 15" SSD, the Type Rs were painfully loud but the SSD overall got lower and rattled shit way more. Got a True Bass Ultra 8" here waiting for a box.
Well said. Good reason for me to continue running with 1 sub.

Running 1 Mach5 SPL12 right now.......just did this weekend 148.8.
I'm running just that one 10" you sold me, and it's doing very well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Not that loud, but sounds amazing.

Im a big fan of one sub setups. Mostly because i can't really run more with my stock electrical. I'm running one crappy 12 in a prefab off who knows how many watts. its a p5002 bridged at 8ohms. Birthsheet stated 716 bridged at 4 so who knows. But anyways, it beats harder than my friends 2 10s.
