How Many Run Just With 1 Subwoofer

I was running one, single DC Audio LVL 4 18", before that, a single SS RL-p 15" and (4) AA Assassin 12s a few years ago.

Without a doubt, the single sub setups performed better than my muti sub setups, with the last one with the DC being the loudest and the lowest.

If your single sub setup is/was louder than your dual sub setup you either started with dual sony xplods or don't know how to properly install subs. 2 will always win if its equal equiptment. I ran 2x 12" type Rs and a single 15" SSD, the Type Rs were painfully loud but the SSD overall got lower and rattled shit way more. Got a True Bass Ultra 8" here waiting for a box.

I run a single Boston G5 12' in a duel ported box. The box build makes a huge difference! It gets nice and loud, with outstanding sound quality.

I used to run a single 15 that amazed people... still the most impressive setup I ran. Ran a single 15 for a few years.

I ran a single 15" for a long time. Got nice and loud for a daily beater but once you get much over 3k for power you almost have to run multiple subs unless you like reconing.

i have 4krms on my sub and its got no problems, could use more power though

you obviously have see some good single sub setups if you think 2 will always be better then 1.

i hope to get my new setup set right, i think i feel a 141 with my single 12.

i have a single 18 does ok i think for single subs its brand dependant higher powered ones put up better numbers. usually though cone area will win but a 18 is roughly the same cone area as a pair of 12's. a pair of 15's how ever should blow a single 18 away on the same wattage.

I run a single subwoofer setup that does JUST under 150dB on the TL.

However, I have been destroyed by many multiple subwoofer setups of course.
