Ok i got 2 kenwood 10inch (4ohm) speakers connected to a kenwood 800watt 2chan amp. I connected it how my friend showed me.. insted of connecting each speaker on its own channel i have it bridged and how the wires are going is on the speakers thereself 1 wire is going from positive on 1 speaker to negative on the other. and the remaining positive for 1 speaker is connected to amp as is the remaining negative from the other speaker is connected to the amp.. WHAT OHMS AM I RUNNING AT? AND CAN SOMEONE PLEASE LIST DIFFERENT CONNECTIONS THAT GIVE DIFFERENT OHMS PLZ?

no how i got it is 1 WIRE connects the POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE of each speaker.. and then 1 WIRE ON EACH SPEAKER GOES TO AMP (1 POSITIVE on LEFT SPEAKER and 1 NEGATIVE ON RIGHT SPEAKER).. i dont have both negatives and noth positives running to the amp

Sounds like you have it wired in series, which would result in a final load of 8 ohms.

Series:

______ __ __

| |+-------+/ \ |--+/ \

|_____|- ----- \__/- --| \__/-|

|-----------------------|

Parallel:

|--------------

______ | __ | __

| |+-------+/ \ +/ \

|_____|- ----- \__/-| \__/-|

|---------|--------------|

Wiring them in parallel would result in a 2 ohm load and higher output. Just be sure that the amp can handle it.

Drawings didn't quite turn out how I thought they would. Parallel would be either

1) wires run from positive and negative of amp to positive and negative of first speaker. and then wires run from the positive of the first speaker to the positive of the second and from the negative of the first speaker to the negative of the second.

2) both speakers are wired to the same terminals on the amp.
